My Work
The core of the work I do is building global platforms and opportunities that democratize luck for entrepreneurs wherever they are in the world, starting with Africa & Middle East.
Africa’s tech ecosystem raised over $3.5 billion in VC funding in 2022—yet access to capital, markets, and visibility remains heavily uneven for most founders.
At Africa Startup Festival (ASF), we focus on bridging the startup-investor gap. With over 4,000 attendees, ASF drives real outcomes—connecting growth-stage founders to investors, LPs, and ecosystem enablers. In 2024, it unlocked over $10 million in deals and partnership pipelines across two editions.
Africa Technology Expo (ATE) on the other hand is where enterprise meets innovation. Designed for business leaders, buyers, and policymakers, ATE convenes 80+ exhibiting enterprises, 5000+ corporates, and thousands of decision-makers driving Africa’s enterprise future.
Underpinning it all is Spark (a.k.a Spark Africa)—a pan-African ecosystem platform that has supported 800+ startups, launched in Lagos, Nairobi, Accra, and Doha, and continues to build the connective tissue between talent, capital, and opportunity.
We’re proud to collaborate with leading partners including: AWS, MTN, Zoho, Norrsken22, Uber, Business Insider, Airtel, Antler, Microsoft, Endeavor and many more to push this impact.
This is how we turn access into infrastructure—and ambition into global momentum.

I regularly appear on global platforms to share my thought process, lessons from the ecosystem, and bold ideas on how Africa can build scalable, investment-ready innovation pipelines. It’s part of how we shape the narrative—not just about what’s possible, but what’s already happening.
